BARDA funds high-impact medical countermeasures (MCMs) of national importance. BARDA also provides subject expertise to help advance MCMs, including regulatory and animal rule expertise. 

BARDA offers a range of funding options for the development of medical countermeasures.  In addition to the the combined BARDA BAA, BARDA's new DRIVe BAA offers early-stage support for specific subject areas.  

BARDA is different from NIH and DoD, and UVG helps our clients navigate the differences. We support technical planning, budget development, project management, and more. For early stage startups, we also can help you engage DRIVe, BARDA's new innovation arm.
